The National Institute for Civil Defense (INDECI), made public the list of priority required items for the victims of the earthquake that struck Peru on August 15. INDECI also called on donors to stop living clothes because demand has already been satisfied.
The priority required articles are:
- Tents
- Blankets
- Non-perishable foods, preferably in small containers for rapid consumption
- Water pills
- Ophthalmic antibiotics
- Antifungal ointments
- Moisturizing salts
- Serum
- Anti-lice medicines
INDECI thanks all people and corporations who have shown their solidarity in Peru and abroad for the victims of the earthquake.
